Each commission begins with a conversation. I take the time to understand your story, references and the meaning behind them, allowing the image to develop through dialogue rather than from a fixed formula.
Every drawing is created entirely by hand as a unique work of fine art, shaped for a particular person, place or moment. In a culture of increasingly automated images, I value the time, attention and material presence of something made slowly and by hand.

Each commission is considered individually.
Timing and price depend on the scale, material and complexity of the work, and vary from project to project. Submitting an enquiry does not automatically confirm a commission, as I need to ensure that each project is a good fit and that I have the appropriate time and availability.
